My name is Fred Hanke. I started Computerize IT in 1991. Why? I worked for a large organization and was a customer of IT services offered by large companies. To my disappointment these large IT service companies would send out technicians that barely knew what they were doing! To make matters even worse, we would get new technicians for almost every project. Each one had to familiarize themselves with our operations and infrastructure. Their prices were exorbitant for such inferior quality. I was thinking how crazy this was and how there was a real need for a whole different kind of IT service company. Our founder Fred Hanke has been in the IT field since the 1990’s. He has serviced in many capacities for relatively large government organizations with networks ranging from 5 to 7000 devices spanned over many campuses. He started as a programmer, then IT manager, and finally to a Director of Technology. All his work has been hands on. This extensive expert experience is in many IT areas such as network design, repair, VOIP telephony, IP video systems, cybersecurity, web design, and firewall configuration.
